What’s a “Gastro-palooza”?
If you’re new to the area or are just recently getting into the local food scene then this would
most likely be your first reaction to hearing about our yearly culinary competition.
Whether you’re into cooking shows and have always wanted to see one live or just love dancing to live
local music while enjoying all you can eat tasting menus from top notch chefs, Gastro-palooza has quickly become a local tradition.
The inaugural Gastropalooza took place in February 2021, as a way to celebrate 28 North’s anniversary.
It was such a hit and we had such a blast that we knew it had to happen again!
The first year featured an intense three-course culinary showdown between 28 North’s own award-winning Chef Kyle Hash
and celebrity guest Chef Adam Allison, a Food Network Chopped Champion.
In the years since we’ve featured some amazing celebrity chefs up against our own executive chefs,
resulting in some amazing food and fantastic entertainment.
