Award-winning Chef Kyle Hash from 28 North Gastropub recently faced off (and won!) against Food Network’s “Chopped” Champion Celebrity Chef Adam Allison.
The 28 North-hosted event, termed Gastropalooza, took place at The Avenue Viera – Central Park on February 28, 2020.
“We love creating new opportunities for our foodies,” said Chris Coneen, owner of 28 North. “It’s definitely a one-of-a-kind evening,” Coneen further remarked about the event, which aims to celebrate the world of food and drink. Local Chef Hash, who emerged the winner of this three-course culinary showdown, has been the Head Chef at 28 North since its opening in February 2019. In between sampling courses of the signature dishes replicated by food purveyors, guests of Gastropalooza also enjoyed live music from Hot Pink, and the products of local farmers, craft brewers and artisan food makers.
